This workshop was created for beginners who are curious about the handpan — one of the most magical instruments of our time. Together we will explore the history of the handpan, from its origins to the art form it is today.
You will learn techniques for making clear sounds, understanding rhythm and groove, and applying chords to compositions. We will create music together as a group and explore basic improvisation. No prior musical experience is necessary — all you need is your curiosity and excitement.
Instruments will be provided. If you have a D minor handpan, please bring it. Space is very limited due to the number of instruments available.
